June 6, 2010

Weathermaker Music has released details on this summer's reissue of CLUTCH's "From Beale Street to Oblivion" project. Complete with digital enhancement of the band's most popular video to date, "Electric Worry", as well as updated artwork and packaging, this 22-track, expanded edition will include five songs recorded at London's legendary BBC studios as part of the "Maida Vale Session" in December of 2006, and four live songs recorded in Melbourne, Australia in 2007. In addition to the CLUTCH classics "Electric Worry", "One Eye Dollar" and "The Devil in Me", the effort will include previously unavailable renditions of CREAM's "Politician" and HOWLING WOLF's "You Gonna Wreck My Life". This double-CD, expanded edition will be available at retail on July 20. The digital version will be available on iTunes and other outlets a week prior.

In support of its most recent CD, "Strange Cousins From the West", and "Live at the 9:30" DVD release, the members of CLUTCH are taking part in a stretch of U.S. and European headline shows, which kicked off this past Friday in Huntington, West Virginia. CLUTCH's instrumental jazz rock alter ego THE BAKERTON GROUP, along with NEVER GOT CAUGHT and LIONIZE, are supporting CLUTCH on their headline dates. Midway through the tour, CLUTCH and THE BAKERTON GROUP will perform multiple sets at the widely popular Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee. THE BAKERTON GROUP will perform on Friday, June 11 at 10 p.m. on the Troo Music Stage. CLUTCH will perform Saturday afternoon at 4:30pm on the Sonic Music Stage, and immediately follow that with a rare 30-minute "signing-booth" appearance . CLUTCH will then let loose their electric set later that night from 12:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. at "The Other Tent."

One of Bonnaroo's broadcasting partners, Fuse.TV, will host an exclusive free download of the new CLUTCH single called "Let a Poor Man Be". A live version of that same track will be available for Bonnaroo concert-goers via a free Bonnaroo digital sampler which will feature live music from both CLUTCH and THE BAKERTON GROUP; courtesy of Weathermaker Music and The Syndicate.
